My name is Ben. Welcome to my portfolio website. I am a communications specialist, graphic designer, and videographer based in Ames, Iowa. Since 2018, I’ve worked as the lead graphic designer and Communications & Outreach Director at the Baptist Convention of Iowa.

COMMUNICATIONS
As a communications specialist for nearly two decades, I have been responsible for our organization’s overall communication strategy and implementation. This included content creation, writing, and design for digital channels like website, social, video, and live presentations as well as print media like flyers, programs, mailers, tickets, and signage. GRAPHIC DESIGN
As an experienced graphic designer working professionally for the last 14 years, I have created innumerable designs for print and digital applications. I have created many flyers, posters, programs, inserts, handouts, and a wide variety of other printed and visual media projects. I’ve also generated many graphics for web, social media, and screen display in our weekly services. Here are three key examples of my graphic design work:
VIDEOGRAPHER
I have produced hundreds of individual videos for use in our live services and for online distribution. I have extensive experience with every stage of video production from the script, to video shoots, to the final edit.
